Mentor and tutor 40 low-income parents in early childhood development, child educational advocacy, and early childhood professional development as they gain certifications and positions with potential for upward mobility in an industry that is lacking trained providers
The Family Learning Center is working to address a shortage of trained childcare and early-education professionals in Boulder County. Many low-income parents long for these positions, but lack the training and certifications to obtain them. In as little as one semester, FLC will help 40 people complete training and obtain certifications for well-paying roles in this field.
