NewBoCo in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Corrections will expand the scope of their DeltaV Code School, a 20-week boot camp where individuals with no technical background become Full Stack JavaScript developers, within Iowa’s correctional facilities to give incarcerated individuals the opportunity to learn skills that can lead to gainful and in-demand employment upon their release. This partnership will be piloted in the Iowa Women’s Correctional Institution in Mitchellville, Iowa.
