OLEJU is a unique approach to an unending challenge of sustainable empowerment for low income women in the Niger Delta of Nigeria. Their entrepreneurship hub trains beneficiaries to become paid artisans and assists them to build their first small business. The artisans-in-residence earn a fair and befitting income on which they can live decent lives and provide for their families. Oleju also goes a step further to give business support and guidance over the years, after the initial accelerator programme is terminated.
