In Africa alone, nearly 850 million people rely on small scale farming for their livelihoods. However, a majority of farmers still live on less than $2 a day. An underlying issue is that farmers lack connections to big buyers and don't have the required working capital to produce at a larger scale. GreenFingers Mobile is a System as a Service (SaaS) that creates transparency in the value chain to meet food buyers' requirements. It also creates a virtual profile for farmers with education records and commercial transaction data that builds credibility.
