Integrating vulnerable youth into the economy via an AI-powered platform that leverages insights from multiple sources to provide targeted strategies for securing employment
The unemployment rate for Spanish citizens under 24 years of age is approximately 27% – the highest in the EU. The problem is particularly prevalent in the more rural and remote parts of the country.
Fundación Ayuda En Acción is taking action to better integrate vulnerable youth into the economy by developing “youthAId”. This AI-powered digital platform crowdsources information about employability challenges, then links them to solutions and resources from a diverse range of experts (including universities, governments, businesses, and professionals), to provide targeted feedback on unlocking employment.
The project aims to not only better understand and respond to the challenges that young people face – particularly in underserved areas in Extremadura and Andalucia – but also share valuable insights with key policymakers to better inform legislation and public support moving forward.
