Montana Technology Enterprise Center

Curating online and culturally relevant entrepreneurship and business courses for Native women.

Partners:
Salish Kootenai College and Blackfeet Community College.

About the project:
The “Native Women Launch” project provides relevant and tribally diverse online courses focused on business ownership and personal finance. Courses will feature case studies of Montana native women and will be distributed through University of Montana, Salish Kootenai College, Blackfoot Community College, and the W.E.L.L. Women’s Business Center.

About the organizations:
Montana Technology Enterprise Center is a high growth, technology-focused business incubator and serves as University of Montana’s startup hub and workforce development vehicle.

Salish Kootenai College aims to provide quality post-secondary educational opportunities and support for Native Americans. The College will perpetuate the cultures of the Selis, Ksanka, and Qlispe’ peoples.

Blackfeet Community College is operated exclusively for non-profit purposes to provide post-secondary and higher educational services to the community. It provides cultural, social and recreational services that are sensitive to the varying community needs and are based on the goals of the Blackfeet Tribe.
