Pratham Education Foundation

Upskilling rural, unemployed young women in a range of industries, with a focus on vocations historically dominated by men.

About the project:
Pratham will connect 15,000+ rural, unemployed young women to jobs in the beauty and health industry, and in the male-dominated automotive, mechanics, and electrical industries. Pratham will offer an all-expenses paid training of 300-500 hours to help women gain accreditation from India’s National Skills Development Council.

About the organization:
Pratham’s mission is to improve the quality of education and skill training for children and youth in India. As one of the largest non-governmental organizations in the country, Pratham focuses on high-quality, low-cost, and replicable interventions to address gaps in the education system.
