Grow with Google aims to help everyone across America access the best of Google’s training and tools to grow their skills, careers, businesses, and nonprofits. In this spirit, the Google.org Impact Challenge Colorado is awarding $1,000,000 in grant funding to nonprofits creating economic opportunity in our cities and towns. Local nonprofits submitted innovative proposals and a panel of experts and the public helped us decide the five winners.

By joining, you will have access to free resources that can help your organization teach people the digital skills they need to grow their careers and businesses.
Meet the winners
Our judges have selected the five winners. These five nonprofits are pursuing big ideas to create economic opportunity in Colorado, and each will receive $175,000 in funding to jumpstart their ideas. Selected by the public, the People's Choice winner will receive an additional $125,000 in funding.

Expand the reach of Ready to Work by providing a roadmap to develop transformative opportunities that end homelessness through employment in communities across Colorado

Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute (RMMFI)
Bring the tools, resources, and support systems for successful entrepreneurship to communities and people across Colorado

GRID Alternatives Colorado
Provide an equitable and effective pathway to living-wage jobs in the growing solar industry by offering paid training for income-eligible participants in our Installation Basics Training (IBT 200) program, which focuses on residential solar installation

Family Learning Center
Mentor and tutor 40 low-income parents in early childhood development, child educational advocacy, and early childhood professional development as they gain certifications and positions with potential for upward mobility in an industry that is lacking trained providers

Help small businesses and women-and minority-owned businesses thrive and grow
