10 ideas to build a better world, faster

Google believes technology can make a better world, faster. The Google.org Impact Challenge supports Canadian nonprofit innovators using technology to tackle the world's biggest social challenges.

Google.org awarded $5 million across 10 organizations to help bring their ideas to life. Five winning organizations received a $750,000 grant, and five additional finalists received $250,000 each.

Meet the judges

The 10 finalists presented their projects to a panel of judges. Their selection, combined with the public vote, determined the five winning charities.
