The Google Impact Challenge launched in the UK in 2013 and is traveling around the globe to support innovative non-profits using tech to make a better world.

Judges

On 3rd June, 10 Global Impact Challenge finalists pitched their projects to our panel of judges who selected three Awardees and unveiled the fan favourite.

  • Sir Tim Berners-Lee

    Sir Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web in 1989. He founded the World Wide Web Foundation in 2009, devoted to achieving a world in which all people can use the Web.

  • Sir Richard Branson

    Sir Richard Branson is Founder of the Virgin Group. In 2004 he established Virgin Unite, tackling social and environmental problems.

  • Matt Brittin

    Matt Brittin is Vice President of Google in Northern and Central Europe. He helps consumers and businesses make the most of the Web.

  • Jilly Forster

    Jilly Forster is Chair of Forster Communications, the social change agency founded to provide fresh thinking to tackle social challenges.

  • Jacquelline Fuller

    Jacquelline Fuller leads Google Giving, investing more than $50 million a year in tech innovators creating transformational impact at scale.
